Futures

This add-on product provides a dynamic live feed of Sydney Futures Exchange (SFE)/Sycom data to your Bourse software, and is only available to Bourse Trader subscribers.

Futures contracts are legally binding agreements to buy or sell commodities (such as wool or wheat), or financial instruments (such as government bonds or shares), at a fixed time in the future at a price agreed upon today. In Australia, all futures and options on futures are traded at the SFE. The delivery period, quantity and quality of a futures contract is standardised and specified, while the price is set at the time the contract is opened.

SFE provides a marketplace for the trading of futures and options. Access to the market is available through SFE brokers known as Participants, who execute trades on behalf of their clients via SFE’s electronic trading system – SYCOM®. Settlement and clearance of trades is performed by SFE Clearing – a wholly owned subsidiary of SFE.

The Futures add-on provides you with all the information you need to become more successful with trading futures through your participant. With the Bourse, you can obtain three levels of live market depth for Futures contracts, view live quotes and the course of trade on the Futures market, include Futures data within your watch lists and charts, and use the Alarm (Monitoring) System to notify you of important events within the Futures market.

NOTE: Add-ons are only available to existing Bourse customers. To use the add-on ordering facility, you must first log into the site.

Historical Data CD

The Bourse suite of products enables you to access the last 3 years historical data for each stock. If your research and analysis requires you to dig deeper, then you need this CD. The Historical Data CD is compatible with The Bourse software only.

This product provides you with super-fast access to more than 13 years worth of historical ASX Sharemarket information, including the Open, High, Low, Close and Volume data for each stock traded on a particular day, for every listed company. Certain stocks, like BHP, also have data that goes back as far as 1981.

Options, Warrants and SFE data is also included on the CD for your use.

The Bourse Historical Data CD is available for $25.

Extra Windows

The standard (default) number of windows able to be opened in The Bourse is four. We have found some subscribers prefer to have more windows open on their screen at the same time, as they manage their investments.

Here's an add-on option to your Bourse subscription to provide you with Extra Windows. Upgrades from 4 to 12 Windows, and 4 to 20 Windows are now available. There's also an upgrade from 12 to 20 Windows, should you need to further upgrade.

You need to be using The Bourse Version 6 for this service, and the add-on fee will be added to your existing monthly account.
